Defence Munitions Gosport Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships 2018

DM Gosport are about to commence their recruitment programme for 2018 Apprentices. They are waiting approval to recruit x 6 Advanced Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships.  The Apprenticeship will last for three years with the first year based in CEMAST at Lee-on-the- Solent.
Their Open Day where students and family members can come and learn more about the Apprenticeship and have a tour of the workplace is scheduled to take place on:

The Degree Schemes run for six years, and are appropriate for those who are in their final year of A Levels or have completed the appropriate A Levels or vocational qualifications required.

Further details on the amount of credits and awards required can be found on their website in each Scheme’s What you’ll need section.

You can only make one application for their Apprentice vacancies. Read all scheme information carefully and apply to the one position that aligns most with your qualifications, skills, experience and interests.

This BBC Sponsored Degree in Broadcast Engineering is an exciting opportunity to get into the world of work, earn money, and gain a BEng degree.  The degree is fully funded, including your accommodation whilst at university.

The Ideal Candidate:

You love solving problems and seeing how things work. You like having a go at fixing things, or designing and building things yourself. They’re not looking for work experience but throughout the application process they’ll be asking for evidence that shows your passion for technology.

As this is a BBC Sponsored Degree they need strong academic performance. The minimum academic criteria is at least 120 UCAS points, including a Maths A level or equivalent qualification or closely related subject.
